On June 29, 2021, the Gamble community gathered to celebrate the retirement of a most beloved member, Jackie Rindal. Jackie has been Gamble’s Office Manager, and a huge part of Gamble’s success, for 18 years. Jackie retired at the end of June and will be moving to Michigan to spend more time with her family. On Wednesday, June 30th, the Endowment Fund Committee hosted a reception to celebrate the installation of Gamble’s newest Endowment Fund Bricks and to welcome the newest members of the Elizabeth Gamble Garden ’02 Legacy Society.  Last year’s party was cancelled due to the panic, so ’02 Legacy Society Members and Endowment Fund Bricks for both 2020 and 2021 were honored.     Guests were welcomed into the Carriage House Courtyard with Gamble wines and refreshments. Gamble volunteers are Awesome and Wonderful! To thank all Gamble volunteers and to honor select long-time volunteers, the Volunteer Development Committee organized an Awesome & Wonderful (A&W) Root Beer Float Drive-Thru party on June 22, 2021. Festive balloons and streamers adorned the Gamble Main House Driveway, where car hops greeted guests with tall and frosty root beer floats. Gamble’s inaugural Festival of Trees was held on December 4 and 5, 2020. Originally a walk-through event, the festival was moved entirely online due to pandemic restrictions. A total of 43 holiday trees were featured in the festival, each lavishly decorated by individuals, businesses, and community organizations. All trees were successfully auctioned online, with proceeds benefiting Gamble Garden. Enjoy photos of select trees below.
