Endowment: A Lasting Gift

The Elizabeth F. Gamble Garden Endowment supports what you value about the Garden now and continues with benefits for the future. The Elizabeth F. Gamble Garden Endowment ensures the long-term health, viability, and success of this community garden and its programs.

A donation to the endowment can be a one-time donation, a donation for an engraved brick or a gift through estate planning. 

An engraved brick in the Gazebo: Endowment donors of $10,000 or more are honored with a named brick in the Gamble Gazebo. For brick holder families, visiting the Gazebo gives joy for years to come and provides a place to reconnect with those they have honored. Brick inscriptions honor families, individuals, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, accomplishments, special moments in time, and loved ones who are no longer with us. A gift of $10,000 to Gamble’s Endowment Fund can be made in one payment or over time.

Named Benches

Donors of $25,000 or more are honored with a bench at Gamble Garden, dedicated with naming rights, upon request.  A gift of $25,000 can be made in one payment or over time. Donors may designate their gift to any of the Gamble Garden named funds. To learn more, please contact us at [email protected].

Estate Planning

Through estate planning: Charitable values can also be reflected through your estate planning. A bequest in your will reduces the size of your taxable estate while leaving your current cash flow unaffected. If you notify us that you have remembered the Gamble Garden Endowment in your estate plan, you become a member of our Elizabeth Gamble ’02 Legacy Society.
