New this Year: Volunteer Orientation Dates
Join us for an optional orientation, open to new and returning volunteers. We’ll give an overview of the Winter Festival events, walk through what your role will be, and make time to meet fellow volunteers and get connected with Gamble Garden. No RSVP needed, just come to whichever session works for you.

Orientation Option 1: Fri, Nov 20, 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Carriage House

Orientation Option 2: Tues, Dec 1, 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, Main House

Open Volunteer Roles

Check-In and Ticket Sales Volunteer
Check guests into Winter Festival and sell at-the-door tickets. You will sit/stand at the front gates, ask people for their tickets, and use an iPad provided by Gamble Garden to check them in. For visitors wishing to purchase tickets, you will either sell tickets through an app on your phone or a Gamble Garden iPad. Training will be provided.
Silent Auction Volunteer
Monitor Silent Auction items and encourage bidding. Take payment for some items using a Square device.
Over the Garden Fence - Sales OR Gift Wrapping Volunteer
Volunteer at our Over the Garden Fence sale either by helping customers navigate the shopping space or wrapping gifts at our wrapping station. Placement will be dependent on what the event needs.
Once Upon a Garden - Breakdown Volunteer
Help breakdown the Once Upon a Garden event. This is a physical job and will require the ability to go up and down stairs, lift up to 30 pounds, and use ladders.
Over the Garden Fence - Breakdown Volunteer
Help breakdown the Over the Garden Fence sale. This is a physical job and will require the ability to go up and down stairs and lift up to 30 pounds.
Vendor Load-In and Load-Out Crew
Help vendors carry their boxes from the front of the house and the parking lot to their booth. This is a physical job and will require the ability to go up and down stairs and lift up to 30 pounds.
