Visitor Policies

We’re delighted to welcome visitors—please help us care for the Garden during your visit.
  • The garden is open from sunrise to sunset
  • Groups of more than 6 must notify the office at least one week in advance.
  • Follow all posted signs, including “Private Event” notices.
  • Stay on pathways at all times.
  • Supervise children in your care.
  • Dogs must be leashed and remain on pathways; please clean up after your pet.
  • Use waste bins located near the gazebo.
  • Do not climb trees, shrubs, structures, or fountains.
  • Do not pick, cut, move, or harvest any plant material or labels.
  • Lawns are not for gatherings or activities.
  • Do not block pathways or obstruct other visitors.
  • Tripods, props, structures, and staging equipment are not permitted.
  • No balloons or similar items that may create litter.
  • No amplified sound or musical instruments without prior permission.
  • No disruptive noise or behavior.
  • No running.
  • No bicycles, skateboards, or similar devices.
  • No smoking anywhere on the property.

Gamble Garden is a self-supporting horticultural garden, not a city park, therefore visitors who are disruptive may be asked to leave at any time. For recreation and larger gatherings, please use the public park at the corner of Churchill and Cowper.
