Together we will learn how to artfully design a seasonal arrangement with glorious blossoms such as Roses, Lisianthus, Veronica and Queen Anne’s Lace. Discover how to enhance your floral designs with the thoughtful use of color harmony and texture. Learn some helpful tips on how to best purchase and care for summer blossoms for maximum enjoyment. You will leave this class with a luxurious arrangement and some new found floral design skills.

Katherine is an instructor and floral arranger at Gamble Garden and she co-led the floral design program at Filoli for eight years. She holds a European Master Certification (EMC) and a Teacher’s Diploma in the Sogetsu school of Ikebana. Katherine exhibits at Bouquets to Art at the deYoung Museum and she conducts public floral demonstrations. Seasonal and locally grown material, with an emphasis on the beauty of California floriculture, is showcased in her designs.
