Enjoy a beautiful October morning learning about bats and butterflies
All ages are welcome to spend a beautiful October morning at Gamble Garden to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month.
The morning’s activities will include butterfly displays, live bat demonstrations, garden tours, traditional Mexican music, Mexican flower making, butterfly crafts, and aguas frescas.

Guided Tours and Nature Hunts
Come get your “nature eyes” working and join a guide as we explore throughout the garden. Tours at 10:00, 10:30, and 11:00 AM.
Activity Stations
Find fun family activities throughout the garden with butterfly displays, live bat demonstrations, Mexican flower making, butterfly crafts, and aguas frescas.
Visit Elizabeth’s House
Walk through Elizabeth’s house, built in 1902, and get a look into the early days of Palo Alto. Our docents will be on hand to answer questions and share stories of old.
