PROJECT PRINCESS

Do you have cocktail dresses, evening dresses, or prom dresses that you no longer need? Clean out your closet and donate your gently used evening wear to The Princess Project. The Princess Project promotes self-confidence and individual beauty by providing free prom dresses and accessories to high school teens who cannot otherwise afford them.

Gamble will be collecting donations on behalf of The Princess Project at our February Second Saturday event on February 8, 2020, 10:00 am – 11:30 am. For dress donation guidelines, go to https://www.princessprojectsiliconvalley.org/donate-a-dress

For Adults: Free Garden Tour at 10 AM

Join our February guided garden tour for adults to wander through time and beauty and get a closer look at Elizabeth’s garden.

For Families: Free Guided Nature Hunts at 10, 10:30 and 11 AM

Many creatures visit Gamble Garden for food, nesting or resting. Join our Garden Guides as we explore the many animals and plants that can be found throughout the garden. We’ll get our “nature eyes” working as we explore, look for birds and pollinators, overturn rocks and logs, and discover the many different ways the garden provides habitat for animals, both big and small. Hands-on activities let little scientists get up close and personal with garden critters! The Nature Hunt is ideal for families with children ages 3-10.

Lion DANCE AT 11 AM

Gather at the Tea House at 11 AM for an exciting lion dance by the Rising Phoenix Lion & Dragon Dance Association.

Visit Elizabeth’s House

Walkthrough Elizabeth’s house, built in 1902, and get a view into the early days of Palo Alto. Our history docents are on hand to answer questions and share stories of old.

Plant Sale

Gamble Garden offers a unique selection of plants for sale at reasonable prices.  Pick up a plant that suits your needs, and bring a little piece of Gamble Garden home with you!  Knowledgeable staff are on hand to answer your plant selection and care questions.
