Join us for this member event, a lecture and slide show in the Gamble Carriage House presented by Shakespearean scholar, Kate Emory Pogue.  Kate will share her love for Elizabethan gardens and the Bard. A frequent lecturer, Kate is a playwright, librettist and stage director living in Houston, Texas. One of her recent projects has been directing Julius Caesar using the original pronunciation, a production she took to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. Kate’s books include Shakespeare’s Friends, Shakespeare’s Family, Shakespeare’s Education and Shakespeare’s Figures of Speech.
