This year 27 artists were selected to participate. Popular returning artists are: Tomiko Bailey, Diane Fujimoto,
Carolyn Hofstetter, Krishna Mitra, Mark Monsarrat, Helen Scheel, Carol Schwarz, Matthew Bailey Seigel,
Akiyo Walker, Marjory Wilson, and Karen Wong. These artists’ entries are works of oil, watercolor, acrylic,
and pastels.
This year’s new artists, all of them painters, are: Becky Baer, Alice Brown, Linda Curtis, Jane W. Ferguson,
Carol Smith Myer, Chris Watson, Catherine Zander, Dan Zhang-Straight. We are pleased to have for the
first time botanical artists and members of Northern California Society of Botanical Artists: Linda Gamble,
Pria Graves, and Victoria A. Kochergin with their precise works using watercolor, gouache, or colored pencil.
We’ve expanded with new art forms to include: Denise Howard creates floral images with colored pencil. Dee (Maryann) Norris
produces glass plaques and an elegant marble sculpture. Rachel Tirosh is exhibiting her polymer sculptures and polymer and copper
flowers. Adrian Susnea Litman creations include metal and ceramic fountains. Chris Watson paints large acrylic images of vegetables
and roses on redwood fencing.

The quality and variety of this year’s Art in the Garden

evening Preview Party, Artists Reception, and Sale
where you will have the very first opportunity to support
Gamble Garden with an acquisition
from this year’s art. Come and visit with
friends, enjoy the gourmet desserts and
wine, lively music, and participate by
placing your personal stroke on Karen
Wong’s Progressive Painting. A Silent
Auction will be conducted to obtain
Karen’s creation from attendees’ artistic
endeavors.

Please join us for this delightful Gamble Garden summer
special event. The original art exhibited and for sale will
include garden art and interior art. This year’s art is the
interpretation of the theme ‘Bountiful Inspirations’,
images that convey the profusion from bountiful gardens.
Twenty-seven artists have been expertly selected to
participate.

Stroll along our garden paths, visit with the artists, and
enjoy the exhibition of original entries for sale throughout
Gamble Garden. A bin sale of prints, artistic totes, and
the artists’ works created in the garden from 10:00 a.m. to
2:00 p.m., will be available for purchase on Saturday only.
Food and beverages from Los Altos Taquerias and ice
cream and goodies will be available for purchase.
