Each destination on our Spring Tour is a manifestation of a uniquely personal take on “Enter the Garden”, this year’s theme. The gardens range from retreats that have evolved along with the homeowners’ lives, showcasing their creativity and involvement, to places of tranquility, both exotic and sophisticated.

Spring tour tickets are $30 in advance for members and $35 in advance for non-members. Online tickets are available for purchase. If you would like to order tickets by mail, download the Spring Tour ticket order form.

Tickets will also be available on the day of the event for $40.

  • Aster ericoides
  • Buddleia ‘Petite Plum’
  • Ceanothus ‘Ray Hartman’
  • Penstemon ‘Margarita BOP’*
  • Salvia ‘Allen Chickering’

The story of ‘Margarita BOP’ is that it was a seedling that came up, sometime in the early 1980’s, at the bottom of a front porch. Every year it would flower like clear sky blue, fading to purple. It was never watered or maintained. The bicycles, skateboards and dogs ran over it tens of times, but it still looked beautiful at the bottom Of the porch. It is thought to be a hybrid between Penstemon heterophyllus and Penstemon laetus.
