- Manjusha is a treasure chest of unique fusion jewelry which combines the majesty of the old with the intensity of the new.
Jyotsna “Joey” Singh first started designing jewelry for herself, to fulfill a craving for jewelry unlike any other on the market. But her entry into jewelry was no accident. Joey is the granddaughter of Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala, who from 1900 to 1938 was the ruling Maharaja of Patiala, a self-governing princely state of British Empire in India. Well known for his love of opulent accessories, Bhupinder Singh befriended jeweler-to-the-kings Jacques Cartier and entrusted Cartier with creating exquisite pieces of jewelry using unmounted gemstones from the royal collection.
This unique and exciting collection of semi precious stones is set in gold plated silver. Inspired by the beauty of the royal Jadau designs (ancient art of embedding stones) the jewelry reminisces of a bygone era of royal palaces and princely extravagance. Its versatile beauty is still relevant as it intertwines the classic in the hues of contemporary design. Manjusha’s pieces adorn and compliment all ages and lifestyles.
