The garden awakens in the spring with tulips, ranunculus, narcissi and other cheerful blooms. Learn tips from instructor Katherine Glazier on how to care for and handle these special flowers that are abundant at this time of year.
Together we will design a very colorful and seasonal arrangement filled with jewels from the spring garden while using foam free mechanics. Come and enjoy a creative morning at Gamble Garden.
All floral material and container provided. Please bring your own favorite pair of floral clippers to class.

Katherine Glazier is an instructor and floral arranger at Gamble Garden and she co-led the floral design program at Filoli for eight years. She holds a European Master Certification (EMC) and a Teacher’s Diploma in the Sogetsu school of Ikebana. Katherine exhibits at Bouquets to Art at the deYoung Museum and she conducts public floral demonstrations. Seasonal and locally grown material, with an emphasis on the beauty of California floriculture, is showcased in her designs.
