Bring the beauty of the spring garden into your home by creating a beautiful nest centerpiece. With Katherine’s instruction learn how to artfully weave branches, greens and vines into a botanical nest ready to fill with colorful and seasonal blooms. Learn some new floral arranging skills while creating your unique centerpiece that will be sure to impress your family and friends. You will also discover ways to adapt your design to further enjoy in other seasons. This class is suitable for adults. Materials fee included with class fee. Please bring your own tools-floral clippers suitable for cutting flower stems and small branchy materials. Class size will be limited to 12 participants to allow individual instruction. It will be held indoors in the Carriage House. Gamble Garden follows Santa Clara County Public Health Department COVID-19 requirements and guidelines. Masks are strongly recommended indoors but are not required.

Katherine is an instructor and floral arranger at Gamble Garden. She co-led the floral design program at Filoli for eight years. She holds a European Master Certification and a Teacher’s Diploma in the Sogetsu school of Ikebana. Katherine exhibits at Bouquets to Art at the deYoung Museum, and she conducts public floral demonstrations. Seasonal and locally grown material with an emphasis on the beauty of California floriculture, is showcased in her designs.
