Enjoy a day of painting in the Gamble Garden in watercolor in plein air. Maryjo just returned from
teaching in Alaska and England and will share her sketchbooks for inspiration. Maryjo will give
demonstrations on quick floral studies. Learn how to do quick studies of small vignettes from around
the garden or focus on a botanical in plein air. You’ll learn how to use the brush to your advantage as
well as watercolors, including gouache.
Participants are encouraged to bring a bag lunch to enjoy during the break. We will supply a selection of coffee, tea, and cold drinks.
