Say cheese, please! Learn how to make your own cheese and sample delicious local cheeses with wine and crackers. Local goat farmer Jeannie McKenzie will reveal the great mysteries of making fresh, organic chevre. You’ll learn everything you need to know about making yummy cheeses in your own kitchen, and you’ll have the opportunity to taste a variety of scrumptious local cheeses. Jeannie will bring cheeses to sample, made with goats’ milk from her Oakland Hills farm. You will make your own fresh herb blend of chevre, made with Pineheaven Farm goat’s milk, to take home. You’ll also receive recipes and instructions for making cheese at home on your own.
