All ages are welcome to spend a beautiful November morning learning about seeds, roots, and soil at Gamble Garden. Enjoy guided nature tours for adults, nature hunts for families, a tour of Miss Gamble’s home, and more. Second Saturdays are free and open to all.

For Adults: Free Guided Guided Tours

Our November garden tour for adults will focus on the fascinating life of seeds! And you’ll discover why soil is the soul of the garden.

For Families: Free Guided Nature Hunts

Search the garden for sensational seeds and explore the world down under where seeds start to grow, roots rule, and life in the soil is teeming! Featuring our ever popular worm bin and compost pile.

Hands On Activity

Budding scientists get up close and personal with seeds, roots, and soil at our nature craft and hands-on activity tables.

Visit Elizabeth’s House

Walk through Elizabeth’s house, built in 1902, and get a look into the early days of Palo Alto. Our docents will be on hand to answer questions and share stories of old.

REGISTRATION

Registration is required for this event.  Register for timed entry at 10, 10:30, and 11 AM. Register in advance or at the door. We look forward to seeing you on Second Saturday!
