Instructor Bio:

Juanita Salisbury is a California-licensed Landscape Architect. Her interest in nature and gardens began in Oregon where she grew up, playing outside in the forests and on farms where she lived.

Juanita established her own Landscape Architecture firm in 2009 after working in academia as well as commercial and residential design firms.  She uses her extensive native plant knowledge, scientific background and design skills to create elegant solutions for pollinator habitat, among other things.

In 2016, she founded the Primrose Way Pollinator Garden, a volunteer group in Palo Alto that transforms and maintains unused public spaces into pollinator habitat.
