LEARN HOW TO START PLANTS FROM SEEDS
Starting plants from seeds is easy and fun if you have the right technique. Spend some time with Frank Niccoli learning how to vary the plants in your garden by growing from seed. Frank believes everyone has a green thumb. Come to this class to find yours!
This is a seated class requiring ticket purchase. It will be held from 9:45 AM to 10:45AM, slightly before the official opening of November, Second Saturday. Frank will give his informational and enjoyable lecture during this time. Preregistration is required and automatically registers you for November Second Saturday : Soil and Seeds.
An informational table with no admission charge will be available in the tea house garden patio area from 10:45 AM to 12:00 during which Frank will be available to answer questions.

Frank Niccoli has been a gardener for over 65 years and has a degree in horticulture as well as business psychology. Teaching as well as writing curriculum at Foothill College since 1999, he is the current program director of their horticulture program.
He has been in leadership positions with many California landscape associations receiving numerous awards and honors, and is in demand as an educator, researcher as well as consultant. The Oprah Winfrey Network selected him as one of the five across the United States whose small acts have a big impact on the sustainable health of the environment.
Frank teaches from the perspective of an environmentally sustainable contractor who had been in the business for 40+ years and with a passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship.
