In this class, instructor Jeff Scroggin will address questions that you may have about planting a fruit tree in your garden. He will address issues of the best location for a fruit tree including exposure, irrigation, drainage. type of soil, etc. He will also cover how to chose the right tree for your garden, when to purchase a tree and how to prepare the site for the tree.

This class will be conducted via Zoom. Join from a PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone or Android device. Please download Zoom and create a free Zoom account ahead of time. Then sign in for the class with a Zoom link that Gamble Garden will provide no later than 24 hours prior to the class.

INSTRUCTOR BIO:

Jeff Scroggin runs his own landscape management business on the San Francisco peninsula. He is an avid horticulturalist and fruit-grower with over twenty years’ experience maintaining landscapes that thrive in the area’s unique climate. In addition, Jeff currently volunteers his time maintaining the orchard at Filoli estate in Woodside.
