CELEBRATE THE Flowers of Gamble Garden at our April Second Saturday!
Gamble Garden welcomes you to spend the morning with us. Explore our unique 3-acre garden in a guided garden tour or a family nature hunt. Second Saturdays are free and open to all, and wonderful for all ages, rain or shine!
FUN FOR ADULTS: FREE GARDEN TOURS
Our April garden tours will focus on our fabulous flowers from roses to wisteria to wildflowers. Join us to observe and enjoy the beauty, fragrance, and function.
FUN FOR FAMILIES: FREE NATURE HUNTS
Many creatures visit Gamble Garden for food, nesting or resting. Join our Garden Guides as we explore the many animals and plants that can be found throughout the garden. We’ll get our “nature eyes” working as we explore, look for birds and pollinators, overturn rocks and logs, and discover the many different ways the garden provides habitat for animals, both big and small.
Bring binoculars and a magnifier if you have them. Download a map to Gamble Garden here. Nature Hunts are wonderful for all ages but ideal for kids 3-10 years old and their grown-ups.
Nature Craft Table
Before or after your tour, have fun trying hands-on nature activities at our nature craft tables
VISIT ELIZABETH’S HOUSE
Tour the first floor of the Gamble Garden house, built-in 1902, to see what life was like in Palo Alto, 100 years ago. Our house docents are on hand to share stories of old and answer questions.
