Community Day

Join us for a day filled with children’s activities, a gorgeous plant sale, horticultural resources, garden demonstrations, food, entertainment, and much more!
This event is free of charge and is open to the community. Everyone is welcome. Throughout the day neighbors, friends, members,
volunteers, and families will be entertained, educated, and inspired.
Families ~enjoy a day outdoors with your kids (or grandchildren!) with children’s activities such as exploring the garden, craft activities, lunch,
digging for worms (below left),
musical entertainment by Mark Fish (below right), “Henry” the truck, and more!
Friends, Neighbors, and Gardeners ~
enjoy strolling through the formal and demonstration gardens, shopping at the gorgeous plant sale, lunch, horticultural resources, learning
about the history of the house and the garden, and more! Our plant sale will include Miss Gamble’s iridescent iris,
a superb succulent collection, salvias galore, and succulent container gardens. Many of these plants are propagated by Gamble volunteers.
They all are of the highest quality.
- Acterra Nursery will be selling native plants.
- The Master Gardeners and Western Horticultural Society will answer your garden questions.
- We will have green resources and information.
- Canopy - ask the arborists.
