Children's Programs

Gamble Garden offers many learning opportunities for children. Please see the descriptions below to learn more about the programs. Contact Gamble Garden at (650) 329-1356 or email admin@gamblegarden.org for more information.

Roots and Shoots

An intergenerational educational program connects senior citizens, students and teachers. The integrated curriculum teaches science, math, and language arts. Environmental stewardship, healthy lifestyles and community service are also key outcomes.

Tours for Children

Groups of children of any age can enjoy Gamble Garden while learning. Garden exploration and fun, hands-on activities appropriate to each age group are emphasized.

Getting Going Growing

This important program is a collaboration with other area non-profits to help schools start and maintain sustainable gardens. These school gardens are living laboratories that help increase academic performance, improve family health and build strong communities.
